Ayurved is considered to be one of the most ancient and the traditional science. Living a healthy life is the whole mantra of Ayurved that is naturally. Survival is one of the greatest fights that humans have to face and it is very difficult to survive without combating any disease. It may be even said that Ayurveda teaches the perfect way of leading a healthy life. Among the Ayurved Basics, it may be said that etymologically the whole concept is composed of two words Ayur and Veda. While the meaning of Ayur is life, the meaning of Veda means science or knowledge, the blend of which is called Ayurveda-the science of life. Ayurveda cannot only be limited to the domain of medicinal system in fact it is the way of life.

Some facts regarding Ayurved Basics:
One of the Ayurved Basics, points out that ayurved is divided into eight parts. It is because of this reason it is also called Ashtanga Ayurveda. These are like, Kaya, Bal, Graha, Urdhwa, Shalya, Dhanstra, Jara, Vrishan. According to the basic concept of ayurved, the human body has seven body types.

These are Mono-types or vata, pitta or kapha predominant, dual types or vata-pitta, pitta-kapha or, kapha-vata, and Equal types, vata, pitta and kapha in equal proportions. It is said that all the individuals are made of this unique combination of these three Doshas. Understanding the uniqueness of an individual are the Ayurved Basics. According to Ayurveda all humans are governed by three vital doctrines, which normalize and direct the biological functions. They are Vata, Pitta and Kapha. The Ayurved Basics also point out to the fact that, doshas are of fundamental importance because they are in charge for coordinating, guiding and directing all the functions of the body. Suitable understanding and acquaintance of the doshas give us the understanding of the operation of the acumen that instructs the dhatus (body tissues) and malas (waste products) and gives the body its vast functional capability. The theory of three doshas is the basic groundwork of Ayurvedic science and its diagnosis and treatment modalities.

Functional facts of Ayurved Basics:
The main functions of three doshas comprise of motions, transportation and electromagnetic activities are controlled by vata. Whereas Pitta represents fire theory and is concerned with process of alteration, utilization and other chemical changes taking place in the living body. Kapha is the water principle and as such every living cell is intruded to gain performance. All the individual doshas have their own unique characters, which are different to each other so as to maintain the symmetry.
